Professor Kim H. Esbensen and professor emeritus Pentti Minkkinen: “Representative Sampling – in Science, Technology and Industry” is the title of a new textbook, planned for publication in 2010 by Wiley VCH.

The book covers all aspects of representative sampling for stationary as well as dynamic lots (process sampling) and will cover all application fields, except mining and minerals processing (which are served well by two recent, dedicated textbooks). A total combined teaching experience of more than 25 years is transformed into a new phenomenological introduction to the Theory of Sampling as well as novel teaching approaches bridging theory and practice with ample demonstration projects and case histories.
